After the release of the full-length album “Creatures and Machines” earlier this year, the new single “Movable Objects” is a turning point in the way that Discoid creates his own music: a “hardware only” release with analog synthesizers and drum machines doing the whole thing. This brings a human touch to the production on which every sound comes from “real” instruments. Aesthetically speaking, “Movable Objects” is a brilliant piece of contemporary disco, with a nod to techno. The track also has an experimental side, you can expect unobvious structure and some cool odd sounds. Thumbs up for the three minutes intro, do a favour to yourself and please fast your seatbelt because this is a long course trip! Ten minutes of juicy, fresh, groovy, warm music for your mind and hips. If you prefer short-term travel, there is a radio edit version of the track. Pretty excited with what new stuff Discoid will pull out in 2022!
