Kamil) Hey Dici, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What first got you into music?

When I was in high school I would tell people I was going to drop out and become a SoundCloud rapper when asked about my future plans. This was of course a joke but as time went on it started becoming more and more real. I also would always see artists on social media and think of how cool of a life it would be.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

Outside of music I’m super into fashion, food, and travel.

Your latest song is 'Champagne Showers'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?

It wasn’t even going to be a song. I didn’t like the beat so when I was in the studio I initially skipped it. As time went on we had recorded something to all the beats and had this one left over. Since there was extra time we just decided to record something to it and that became Champagne Showers. Though I initially didn’t like the beat when the song was done I actually really liked it.

Can you reveal the recipe for a musical hit?

I think the main thing is catchiness and how repeatable it is for a broad audience. If a bunch of people find it catchy and are able to listen to it over and over again it will be a hit. Then obviously there is PR and marketing that is just as important as the actual song.

What are you doing to ensure you continue to grow and develop as an artist?

The main thing is continuing to improve my music and continuously performing. If my music keeps on getting better and people continue to come out to see me play eventually I will succeed.

What inspires you as an artist? Could it be the sea, the weather or something else?

A lot of my inspiration come from the area around me. I like going to different places because I feel it stimulates my mind.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I believe my music is only getting better so stay tuned.

Do you have a mentor or coach?

Not really but I have people I look up to such as my father.

Do you think it's easy to become established in the music world, or is it difficult?

I believe it is one the hardest things one can try to do. There is so much competition and the odds of “making it” are so low.

What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?

I see myself being one of the biggest artists in the world.
