Hello Gary Liverakos. What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?

I don't know about being a great musician, but I do believe that I'm very versatile in different styles of music, which gives me a little bit of a flavor advantage.

Who inspired you to make music?

My mom's boyfriend, who was a Greek Bouzouki player, I learned how to sing with scales.

Your latest release is 'Gary'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?

The whole album is about the way we feel when we break up, anxiety, pain, regrets and recovery. During the creation of the album, I had the biggest breakup, which influenced the way I expressed emotions.

Can you shortly describe each of the tracks that are on the album?

"Illusion" is about thinking that you're in love with somebody else but them turning out to be something completely different.

“Endlessly” on the other hand, is the expression of love towards somebody and the feelings that will be there endlessly.

"I need you" self-explanatory the pain that you feel when you really need somebody to be there beside you.

"Save me" is a cry for help.

"Here I am" is a way of trying to reason within yourself with the illusion that you're going to be back together.

"Stone cold" refers to how somebody else can be so unloving and so self-centred.

"Loser" talks about the demons within the feelings that you have that is your fault because you're always forgiven.

"Low" is about how you feel when you know, there's no way back.

"Shade" is a personal biography of my feelings knowing that this album might not be recognized in my lifetime. I'm just saying that I'm planning trees the shade of which I'll never see.

And "Maybe" is that doubt that we have in our brains when we can't figure out if it's them or us that made a mistake.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest musical trends?

When I write music, I don't care about trends. You start thinking about what's right when what's wrong and which way to write to sell you lose your heart and your soul. I'm not interested in trends.

What makes you different from others?

I'm not different from others. It's just that sometimes feelings overwhelm me, and the only way to express myself is through music.

What's an average day like for you?

I love my music and my 13-year-old son. I'm a single dad, and I try my best.

Please discuss how you interact with and respond to fans.

I speak to every fan who messages me or sends me an email cuz I know that they probably are going through what I went and if I can help, I will reach out and help them.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Sing from your heart. Don't worry about the music. Success comes only when you can convey the feelings that are in your heart and soul to others.

What are your plans for the future?

My goal in life is to keep on putting out albums with beautiful songs that can touch and reach as many people as possible. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself.
