The Good Neighbours - “Moonlight Shoreside”

A collective of buddies making indie pop music out of Buffalo, New York, The Good Neighbours bring an uptempo, funky sound to their audience with their releases— the latest of which is “Moonlight Shoreside”. The song sees a display of clean electric guitars that play excellently with the funky, well-articulated basses while the synth pads in the background lend a little bit of electronics to the sound. The steel pans also chip in with melodies and counter-melodies throughout the song, making for a diverse, tasteful listen that is sure to get the attention of the listener. Check out the track here!

LLEow - “Sacrifice (Radio Edit)”

LLEow brings a cocktail of sound that could be described as a blend of 90s alternative, 80s punk, and electropop, weaving powerful lyrics into infectious hooks; and on their latest single, “Sacrifice (Radio Edit)”, they do not disappoint; with the mellow, melancholic atmosphere that the lyrics and vocal delivery creates, the guitars ring with their chords out and loud, while the drums expertly control the energy of the track, lending it a polished, complete sound that is a pleasure to listen to. Scared of Sharks - “2nd Jingle Idea”

Born in Mogareeka, and honed in Wollongong, “Scared of Sharks”, the punk rock'n'roll outfit, spearheaded by Taylor Shwifty and Jack Malolakis, emerged from the Cobargo folk festival in 2016. With a brand-new sound in 2024, their latest single, “2nd Jingle Idea” is an electric infusion of loud, in-your-face vocals and groovy rhythms. While the drums take on a very alt-rock fashion, the rest of the ensemble keeps up effortlessly, especially the guitars, that retain their pop punk rock-and-roll flavour rather elegantly.
