Gary Dranow, known for his blend of blues and rock brought into a flavour of his that is distinct and catchy, amazes us with his single, “Destiny Road”. Remixed in its present avatar, the song starts off with an upbeat, energetic guitar groove— and as the lead guitar comes on, the vocals sit atop it quite nicely. Bringing the greatness of the 70s in Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and so on, Calum Ingram presents a sound rich in virtuosity, and deep in musicianship. His latest single, “The Man”, is a comfort listen— with lyrics and melodic parts that are simple enough to follow through, yet interesting enough in their sound. Calum’s skills with the cello also shine here, as it finds itself presented in a warm, fuzzy, saturated sound that makes it stand out as a highlight of this track. 9 o’clock Nasty - “Dead Pilot”

Emerging from the town of Leicester, 9 o’clock Nasty are a band that bring elements of punk rock and punk pop into their music, and that manifests itself quite nicely on their latest track, “Dead Pilot”— reminiscent of the pop punk sound of the 80s and 90s, the song is an immediate charmer from the very start, and with the funky synths layered with the guitars and percussion, this song remains an engaging listen from start to finish. A solo singer, songwriter and performer outfit from the land down under, The Amanda Emblem Experiment has been making waves in the indie pop scene in Australia— and it continues on their latest single, “Aphrodisia”. The song finds itself revolving around the swert vocals and the delicate acoustic guitars; while the lyrics paint a simple, homely picture that is immediately comforting to listen to. Starting out with his debut in 2020 with the album “Maladaptive Daydreaming”, Brisbane-based artist Replenished Sky does not shy away from extracting influences from the most uncanny of places; be it progressive rock or dubstep, if it sounds good to him, he’ll blend it expertly into his music— same is the case with his latest single, “Downtrodden”; a fiesta of different sounds that play together extra sweetly; from the downtempo, clockwork-like precision of the percussion to the fun synths in the second part of the song, every bit of this track is rewarding; check out the track here!
