This track leads us to “Bullyboy”, the first of the three tracks on this album that deliver us poignant social commentary on this record, with lyrics that are poetic and full of bite. The third track on this album is “Ho Ho Ho” which opens with gorgeous melodies and arpeggios that are full of warmth and give us a breather from the nonstop barrage of energy the first two tracks bring us. “L.O.V.E” is the first country-styled track and really shows the range this band is capable of executing to perfection and is one of the stand-out tracks from this record that you are sure to never forget. It is also the first vocal duet performance on this album and we can’t be more delighted to hear more. The halfway point of this album is marked by the banging and ridiculously virtuosic track “Beach Party” which further enunciates the range of this band. The bassline on “Start at the End” is one that you will feel in your bones and will be the biggest takeaway from this track apart from the consistently outstanding vocals on this album. “Fever” brings us a wonderful swing and groove and this is the point in the album you realise you forgot to feel the passage of time as you are fully engaged and lost in the music. “Ticket to Peru” is a 90s-style house track that has some truly bopping beats that are sure to turn into an earworm. “Crash Crash Bang” and “Black Hole Information Paradox” close out the album and their sounds and styles mirror each other and round off this amazing sonic experience.
Every song on this album is a gem and an achievement of a band that is capable of an insane amount as a musical outfit.
