LITM Pop Picks This Week Pack a Goodie Bag of Melodies with Onbar, Chloe Spider and More!

LITM Pop Picks this week brings all the good vibes and tunes to sing and dance along to featuring the talents of Onbar, Arliston, Colleen Rennison, Joyce Tratnyek and Chloe Spider!

Onbar - Always

Onbar with his latest track “Always” has crafted an emotive and evocative track that simply hits all the right notes in your ears. Opening on a melodious acoustic guitar the primarily acoustic melodies in this piece keep it feeling grounded with synth and programmed percussion elements being injected into the song as it progresses. Onbar’s singing is passionate and intimate giving this song a vulnerable tone and the vocal lines are catchy. “Always” is a song that knows what it's trying to say and doesn’t overstay its welcome. All in all, I enjoyed listening to this track and so will you!

Arliston - 451

Arliston has crafted a moody and atmospheric piece with their track “451”. The instrumentals on this track are soaring and demand your attention while the singing is passionate and from the heart. Arliston makes perfect use of programmed beats and jazzy brass motifs to build this song's soundscape and you can quite easily lose yourself in the music. The repeated lyric of “maybe you’re a little lost” is ear-catching and is undeniably hooky. All put together, “451” has a melancholic ambience and Arliston have crafted a one of a kind listening experience that you can listen to forever!

Colleen Rennison - I Do

Colleen Rennison has a voice that fills up the room with its boldness and power and immediately catches your attention. She has masterfully used it to great effect in her latest single “I Do” to create a soundscape that is incredibly strong. The general stylings of this song have quite a few evident retro inspirations to them, reminiscent of the pop sound of the late 80s and 90s. Colleen has crafted a song that makes its statement loud and proud and I’m all for it. She is immensely talented and I can't wait to see what she puts out next!

Joyce Tratnyek - Moon Tattoo

Pop music in its rawest and most personal form in my opinion is just a singer with an acoustic guitar. Joyce Tratnyek takes that fundamental and runs with it on her latest single “Moon Tattoo”. The strong feature of acoustic guitars combined with Joyce’s passionate singing gives the song an incredibly intimate and heartfelt vibe that resonates with you. Joyce's message about loss and overcoming shyness as well as the electronically produced ambient elements gives this song a transcendent soundscape. “Moon Tattoo” is the hallmark of an artist who sings from the soul and deserves your love and support!

Chloe Spider - untitled

Chloe Spider’s latest single “untitled” is a dreamy, hazy sonic experience that delivers pure joy to you as you listen to it. Her somewhat experimental vocal styling as well as the production of this track brings an ethereal vibe to this tune that lingers in your mind well after you are done listening. “untitled” is the perfect blend of dreamy and alt-pop with a solid musical structure and electronic instrumentation to appeal to anyone’s musical palette. The ambience on this song is incredibly wide while remaining well-rounded, and you can get lost in it despite the experience flying by in less than five minutes!
