Pascoe-Education State

Pascoe create an indie rock fantasy with their single, Education State. A driving rhythm with some memorable melodic parts and catchy lyrics-this has everything. An opening single for our playlist, it has the warmth and kind of harmonics you’ll want to sing along to. Pascoe are at their best with the leads that appear in your dreams. Perfection lasts all within this composition, making a spectacular song that will drain your worries away and make you think of how they recorded this. The duo are at their absolute best, and Education State is the clear winner in the accord of what they are creating:

Jane N’ The Jungle-Cut Me Open

The band returns for hard rock delivery with their latest single, Cut Me Open. Designed as a radio smasher, this has the tempo and pace, as well as the melodies that complement the genre. Jane N’ The Jungle have been producing consecutive hits, with the vocals and instrumentals creating that hot dynamic that listeners have been craving. This is the song that builds to a crescendo, and etches the lyrics in your psyche for quite a while. You can listen to the single here, and remember that this earworm will cut you open:

Will Sims-Where Are You Now?

Will Sims treats us to regulated, beautiful indie rock with his single, Where Are You Now? It has the kind of retention of beat that seasoned artists cannot produce at times, with Will having signature vocal performances. His lyrics are memorable, unique and build to a tremendous chorus. The performance is something that really cements his legacy as a performer and architect of notes and structure. It also brings an amazing ebb and flow to our playlist, and has an outstanding symphony run from Will Sims at the peak of his powers, that will continue for a while. Listen to the single here:

Monck-easy to get lost

Post grunge tones galore in the song easy to get lost by Monck. Performing at a high level from the first single itself, this artist has bared it all in the latest album. The psychedelic aura melts are amazing to listen to, especially if you’re on stereo. There are comparisons to many 80s bands that can be made with delivery like that, and this album is a great leap forward for them. Get lost in the post Waters inspired Pink Floyd era of music which features some amazing instrumental pockets.

Midwave Breaks-Stonewall

Closing the playlist for the week is Midwave Breaks, with their Chris Cornell inspired song, Stonewall. The song features some amazing vocals and instrumental parts, fuelled and ready to go. Melodically, it wastes no time to enter hyperspeed and close out this collection on a high. A two-piece alt-rock band, they indulge in the riff and everything good that comes with it. A classy affair for the duo, they are creating shockwaves from an epicentre that can create volumes if it wants with the kind of sound that comes in. Listen to Midwave Breaks create the perfect audio getaway with Stonewall!
