Vintage charm coupled with modern energy? ‘Don’t Shoot The Messenger’ by Lyons Lane hits the perfect mark. A five-piece band hailing from Detroit, this is the first song off their EP You’ll Talk About It!. The song mixes fuzzy guitar riffs with punchy horn sections to create a sound that easily fits into classic rock with modern pop-punk sensibilities. Mark Leo, the vocalist, adds plenty of personality with his raw vocals. The lyrics are all about the unfortunate humor of being the bearer of bad news and hoping for mercy. This is an EP opener that surely makes an impact!
4. Marion Sophia Dyrvik - Daydreamer
‘Daydreamer’ by Marion Sophia Dyrvik really makes you feel like you’re in a dream you’d never want to wake up from. Dyrvik, hailing from Norway, crafted this indie dream-pop song to navigate the nuances of long-distance relationships. The track opens with a steady guitar that immediately sets a relaxed and introspective vibe. Dyrvik’s voice is the absolute highlight—smooth, ethereal, and emotionally expressive.
