LITM Singer-SongWriter Picks This Week: Nathaniel Paul, Kevin Driscoll, and Cirkle TwentyTwo!

LITM Singer-Songwriter Picks tis week brings to us Nathaniel Paul, Kevin Driscoll, and Cirkle TwentyTwo!

Nathaniel Paul - “Steady as We Go”

An upcoming singer and songwriter, Nathaniel Paul brings us a soulful journey through love in his latest single, “Steady As We Go”; and from the very start of the song, his soulful guitar playing rings clear and warm through the waves — and as he gently brings his voice to the fore, we’re left swaying and softly humming to ourselves, taking in the beauty of the lyrics. The song is beautifully written, with a sweet, gentle pre-chorus and chorus section manned by just Paul and his guitar. The song is beautifully performed, capturing the song’s emotion beautifully. Kevin Driscoll - “The Maine Thing”

Kevin Driscoll seamlessly blends blues, Americana, alternative, folk rock, and rock music, creating quite the listening experience on his latest track, “The Maine Thing”. Using the guitar as his rhythm, he effortlessly taps the rhythm of the song along, with the banjos adding a beautiful layer of dimension to the track. Kevin’s vocal performance is also to props here, with the fiddle in the middle of the track adding just that extra bit of sparkle, bringing a smile to your face before you realise it. All in all, a winner of a track! Take a listen to it here:

Cirkle TwentyTwo - “Better”

Cirkle TwentyTwo is a singer-songwriter trio that’s obsessed with gentle melodies painting the most elaborate metaphors — and on their latest single, “Better”, they paint a beautiful tale told by a daughter and father; and right from the get go, the simple guitar lines with the rich vocal harmonies create a listening experience like no other. The whole song goes by, you hit the repeat button, and once again — and every time, you’re left smiling at the sheer beauty of the imagery that maketh this track — and I’m all here for it.
