Thexele - "Let Me into Your World"

"Let Me Into Your World" is the latest single by indie-pop artist Thexele -- and within a few days of its release, it's popping off the charts! For good reason, I'll say; for from the very start of the song, there's this velvety blanket of sound that envelops you. Be it the soft electric guitars in the background, or the groove of the bass that keeps you firmly locked in tempo, this song has a meat of solid production that's topped off by a soulful vocal performance that makes light work of charming you. As the hooks come and go, woven in with the verses, there's not a corner of your heart that this song doesn't leave untouched. Check the song out below!

Rosie Byron - "Territory"

A thematic songwriter at heart, Rosie Byron is the kind that's unafraid to talk her heart out in her songs -- and her latest single, "Territory", is no exception. A gentle, evocative vocal performance laid atop a groovy dance-pop beat, the acoustic basses stand out on this song in an almost-Charlie Puth fashion, while the pianos in the refrain sections keep the energy of the song focused, yet expansive. The guitars and gentle sweeping pads yield a modern tinge to the sound, with the tight mix coming as a pleasant point to appreciate about this track. Check out the track here!

Lydia Keeney - "Hayhu"

A piano virtuoso since childhood, singer-songwriter Lydia Keeney channels her classical inspirations and healing themes into her music with much aplomb -- and with her latest single, "Hayhu", a beautiful number that packages her signature hymn-like sound into bite-sized deliciousness. Serenity is this song's middle name, with the simple humming and lines yielding a meaning that goes beyond the lyrics. The vocal layering brings this song dimension and an almost fairytale-like quality, with the interplay between registers and styles serving to finish this song off in style, leaving the listener contented and at peace. V OF - "La Grande Motte (English Original Radio Edit)"

"La Grande Motte", by up-and-coming musician V OF comes at you with its gentle afro-deep house sound, lending itself to the choicest of 2010s and early 2020s deep house. The vocal performance is clear and well-produced, with the drops bringing in some serious heat with the synths and plucked instruments. The mallets peppered throughout the background of this track yield it bounce and a decidedly bouncy, groovy sound -- and the result is the kind of song that you'll loop before you realise it. As the song draws to a close, there's a nice closure to the energy of the song, rounding out the performance quite nicely. Check out the track here!

Tom Leonard - "The Fathoms Deep Pool of Love"

An experimental shoegaze and post-rock musician from the city of Manchester in the UK, Tom Leonard goes all out with his latest single, "The Fathoms Deep Pool of Love" -- as from the very first second, dark, radioed synths lend themselves to overarching, intricate melodies; and as the motif develops into a shoegaze sound, there's all the hallmarks of a shoegaze number done right. The gentle rise of energy, the swathes of reverb on the background synths, the backbeat on the drums, as well as the anti-climactic hooks all bring forth a package that's exceptionally hard to pass over.
