When I started to work with Musosoup as a curator, one of my main motivations was to have the chance to discover great unknown music from hidden artists around the globe. Spaceship Nation Music is a project based in Richards Bay, Kwazuku, South Africa, that started in 2020. “Let’s Groove” is his very first dance track produced and he couldn’t have a better debut. The bass line is totally hypnotic, powerful and groovy just as he likes to do it. The full picture gets even better with the african percussion that suddenly joins the ride. The result is a techno gem with an eye on Detroit and another on the work of Lisbon’s Príncipe record label, a track that makes your hips shake and your mind spin!
