Indie Pop Singer-songwriter from Donegal, Larabelle has dropped her latest single ‘Monster’ feat Kellie Barr. The 18 year old has been taking many by surprise with her mesmerising vocals, meaningful lyrics and powerful instrumentals.

Playing gigs around her home turf for two years and continuing her passion for music. Her next endeavour is to pursue a career in music at BIMM in 2020.

From start to finish the song instantly grabs the listeners attention. Larabelle has such a wide range of vocal ranges, making sure to embrace them high notes and always keeping the voice at a more mellow tone as the instrumentals begin to fall quiet.

Having such dreamy vocals along with that roar emotion that seeps through the voice. With each lyric standing out significantly, telling the story from an addict’s point of view and describing the traumatic time that comes with it. ‘Monster’ is a song that ignites meaning and has a truly powerful message. It relates to any type of mental health issue that many struggle with.

Despite the poignant meaning, Larabelle continues to keep that infectious melody shining through. Always managing to keep the listeners spirits high through the smooth instrumentals and the uplifting essence to her voice. Emphasising on that meaning of mental health can really beat you down but there is always a way to push through.
