Celebrate The Good Times by The Hybris is a Disillusioning Punk Rock Expose

The international alt-rock group, Hybris is back with yet another beguiling mix of punk, dark rock, and alt rock. Rich with intense philosophies and societal rhetoric, the trio have a revolutionary sound. For their latest release, Celebrate The Good Times, The Hybris use gunning beats, and hyper riffs to create an escapist atmosphere. Teeming with dark optimism and obvious cynicism, the track is loaded with revolutionary antics.

The track opens with tense riffs railroading through the punk beats. Shiny keys melodies float like orbs across the dejected soundscape. While the lyrics, by itself, portray a bright and celebratory message, its delivery tells a whole other story. The angsty punk style feeds the disillusioned narrative, making it stronger and stronger as the track progresses. In true Hybris style, the subtext is powered to overwhelm the illusionary worldview presented at the surface.

THE HYBRIS- CELEBRATE THE GOOD TIMES

The Hybris are Ringo Rabbit, Beanie Bison and Malcolm Mandrill. Known for their sharp and caustic critique of the world’s affairs, the band projects an underdog uprising kind of energy. They ironically named themselves after the Greek tragedy of Hybris, taking on the vigilante shift to purge the world of all its ills.

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
