Hello Chris Norman. What made you want to become a musician?

I listened to a lot of rock and roll like Elvis, Little Richard etc when I was a kid and then later the Beatles. That’s when I decided I wanted to be like that.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

Not really. I read a lot and love to watch old movies and football

Your latest song is 'Always On My Mind'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?

I wanted to get back to the original version by Willie Nelson so I tried to use that as a template, funnily the Elvis movie came out just after I’d finished it.

When you are working through problems in your work, who do you talk to?

I don’t, I just work it out myself.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist

When I left school I had a lot of jobs for a couple of years. Office work, electrician, wool salesman and many others but none of them suited me.

Describe your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician.

Favourite is creating music and playing in front of a live audience. Least favourite is the travelling.

What’s your scariest experience?

When we first started we regularly had gangs of jealous boyfriends waiting after gigs to beat us up.

What are you focussing on right now?

I’m gigging and writing songs, business as usual.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

Bring back all the record labels of the 70s and make physical records important again.

What accomplishments do you see yourself achieving in the next five to 10 years?

Staying healthy enough to continue making music.
