Hello Maybe Human. What strengths do you have that you believe make you a great musician?

I wouldn’t consider myself a great musician, but I do have an antenna. The ability to conceptualize an idea is a strength. Being able to create something from nothing.

What is your dream project?

I’ve completed three albums in three years, two EPs and a slab of singles along the way. For me that’s pretty much a dream right there. Something that seems like a fantasy or a dream would be to collaborate with Buckethead.

Your latest track is 'The Deviant Landlord'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?

I created a wicked image using AI software (a weird monster holding a big guitar) and it inspired me to make a track that was heavily inspired by Primus with a unique bass guitar sound. I put together the track and I sent it to Professor Electric. He does what he does and turned it into this dramatic telling. The Deviant Landlord.

What makes you angry?

I don’t get angry anymore, but there are things about the world that can push me there. Example 1 - countries treating humans like a product that’s only purpose is to generate money for said country.

What is the most surprising fact you’ve learnt about yourself?

You can only create true love by letting yourself go at precisely the right moment. I’m still learning… haha

What do you dislike about your work?

I don’t think I’m ever completely satisfied with a song or a mix but I know that if I don’t move on, I’ll be stuck working on the same track forever.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Keep seeking out new music. It seems like that would be easy to do because there’s so much available, but there’s actually too much available and that’s what makes it difficult. Two amazing artists I recently found.

Datcha - Beyond All Hope

Is the artistic life lonely? What do you do to counteract it?

Yes it’s lonely. However, the peace that comes from being alone is centric.

What do you think is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen or experienced?

Imagine a big uncluttered attic with hundreds of large walnuts spread out on the deck.

What are your plans for the future?

I’m going to push my next album - Remains in Space - I’ve got an amazing artist creating a comic book to go along with the record. That will be out later this year along with an EP of short musical arrangements featuring celestial poetry. I’m always looking for artists to collaborate with.
