Kamil) Hey Proklaim, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What first got you into music?

It bubbled over from an endless love for hiphop music. I was a fan for years and found myself constantly listening to it. Later in college I dabbled with writing and got hooked to it.

What is your creative process like?

When I hear a beat I write to it hooks though usually come to me once I hear a beat and I start singing what the beat brings out of me.

Your latest song is 'Pricelless'. Can you tell us more about the making of it and if there were any unusual things happening during the process?

For "Priceless " I pretty much heard the beat and that's what I scribbled down. The hook wS spontaneously inspired by the beat. I just put down the 1st melody I got.

What was the most difficult challenge you faced?

Creative wise it's pretty straight forward.

What is the biggest mistake you have made within your career to this point?

I probably should have learnt how to mix and master music when I started rapping years ago. That would have given alot of creative freedom and non dependence on engineers.

Are there people who help you with the production of the songs?

My beats I purchase online. The engineering part is often done by Lu Diaz in Florida and Wojtek Majewski in Namibia. Mastering is done by Chris Athens.

What are your long term goals?

The ultimate long term goal is to create a long term legacy that transcends generations kind if like say Bob Marley..and have music associated strongly with "The Message " it carries.

What do your fans mean to you? What do you value most in them?

Supporters of my work I regard as family and essential to spreading the message of my work.

What memorable responses have you had to your work?

A young man in Durban South Africa wrote me and said he struggled with depression and he often listened to my songs finding encouragement from them.

Where is the best place in the world you’ve ever been to?

I quite liked the charm of a small coastal town in England I was born in called Brighton.
