Congratulations on your latest single "Anything"! It's such a beautiful, heartfelt song. Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind the track and what it means to you personally?

This song was written a long time ago, I was feeling like I wanted to write a song about how much my loved ones mean to me, and how small moments day-to-day can really show people how much they mean to you.

The lyrics of "Anything" beautifully capture the essence of love. Were there any real-life experiences that influenced the writing of this song?

It was almost written as a reminder for myself to not take people I care about for granted. And about how kindness and respect can really strengthen your bond. It was kind of simultaneously written as an ode to friendship and familial level relationships, while being hopeful towards any potential romantic endeavors to come.

Music has been a part of your life since childhood, and you've achieved great success in your career. Can you share with us some of the challenges you faced along the way, and how you overcame them?

Some challenges were really based around defining my sound. I have a love of many different genres of music, and I feel like my voice can fit into different spaces within pop music fairly easily, so finding a direction for a full album took a bit of time. I spent some time chasing radio trends and eventually took a break to refocus. I came back with a determined mindset of just making relatable songs with a heavy focus on smooth vocals and soaring melody lines that are built over a modern sounding production that incorporates some classic pop and rock elements.

Your song "Bleed Forever" was featured on "The LA Complex," and other singles like "Painkiller" and "So Hot It Hurts" have received radio play in Canada. How do you feel these experiences have shaped you as an artist, and what lessons have you learned along the way?

It’s been great to have a couple songs get placed in places like that, because it really gives you a barometer of what’s working and what is not. It gives me an idea of what people like, and I can see the feedback given, and I can take any lessons learned and grow from there!

Your upcoming project "Louder Than Words" sounds incredibly exciting. Can you give us a glimpse into what listeners can expect from this project? What themes and emotions have influenced it?

This album is a really exciting project for me. I really took time to focus on each song, and was able to build a body of work that I feel really represents me well as a vocalist and songwriter. There’s a lot of stylistic diversity on the album overall, with songs that are pop, pop/rock, piano driven ballads, and some throwback vibes, but the vocal production throughout is really smooth and the songs all mean something to me. I was really able to let loose vocally and show off everything I can do, and I’m so happy with the material.

Collaborating with award-winning producer Jeff Dawson on "Louder Than Words" must have been an incredible experience. How has working with Jeff influenced your creative process?

Jeff has been an incredible collaborator for this project and other music I’ve worked on over the years! His wealth of experience is so diverse and he brings a great perspective and musicality to the songs. He’s been great as a co-writer as well, really putting a great level of care into making sure each song stands alone and making sure each line is as great as possible. His level of patience with me and my endless vocal tweaks has been a great asset to this album, allowing me the time to really craft the perfect performances on each song.

With your impressive achievements and experiences in the music industry, you have undoubtedly gathered valuable insights and wisdom. For the aspiring artists who are just starting their journey, what advice would you like to share with them?

I think some valuable advice would be to not be afraid to take your time and find your niche. There’s nothing wrong with spending time to decide how you want to portray yourself as a person and how you want your talent to be displayed. Being the best representation of yourself will really bring out the authenticity that I think listeners are craving these days.
