The Rolling People - “Before It’s Gone”

Eighteen years of age is not the typical age for somebody to be making great music, let along selling out tours and charting on national radio— yet, The Rolling People, based out of Manchester, are here to break that paradigm. Their latest single, “Before It’s Gone”, is a fiesta of everything that makes rock epic as a genre, blended skilfully with a production that wows with its fast-paced guitars and adrenaline-filled vocals. The energy hits 11 on the first second, and stays there throughout— and all in all, is the kind of listen that is sure to pump you up and fill you with energy no matter the time of day. Centrifuge - “The Spell”

Based out of Stuttgart, Germany, the rowdy outfit that dubs their music “RotationRock”— a blend of power pop, alt rock, dallying with the tenderness of the indie scene of the noughts; and on their latest, “The Spell”, they deliver a truly spellbinding listen as they experiment with tasteful breaks, play around with the energy of the track like they own the genre— and there’s just this renegade-like element of grunge rock that shines right through, making for the kind of listen that could soundtrack some of the most epic high-energy scenes in cinema history. The three-piece continue to amaze, and we’re excited to ask: what comes next? Check out the track here!

Trapt - “Ignorance is Bliss”

Making up a part of their upcoming album “The Fall”, “Ignorance is Bliss” by rock outfit Trapt is the perfect blend of aggression, melodic expression and great sound design, as the elements come together with an elegance nondescript beyond epic; with the looming phased electric guitar lines and basses keeping the energy and the tension steady through the song, while the rhythm guitars chime in and out at just the right times. The tracking on the vocals adds that oh-sweet phatness to the mix, and it all comes together excellently well with the master, gluing all the elements together in sublime fashion. Check out the track here!

Sound For The Living - “Sound For The Living”

Starting out with a vocalist-guitarist duo, the band Sound For The Living is fast carving a niche for themselves with their fun, uptempo sound that is sure to get anybody jiving in a jiffy; with their eponymous single, “Sound For The Living”, there’s this explosion of good vibes right from the start; with the drums expressly keeping the song going like clockwork, while the basses and the guitars dilly-dally in all kinds of divisions in the middle. The keys also make for a perfect addition to make the sound filler, and the vocal harmonies are organic and wide; all in all, a pleasure to listen to and talk about. Check out the track here!
