In this edition of LITM Pop Picks, we take a listen to the hottest in pop music from the likes of Magnus & John, Gianfranco GFN, and more!

Gianfranco GFN - Sing The Song

From its bright brass intro to its balladlike pace, "Sing The Song" is the kind of track that immediately strikes home, and in the best possible ways; from the time the track starts, all the way to the end, you're hit with charisma in oodles, as melodies evolve into harmonies, and parlay with the drumming sections that display impressive and fresh variety throughout. The production is quite nice, with excellent vocal layering, creating an atmosphere few can rival. All this is wrapped up quite beautifully by a mix to remember for its wide, expansive sound, making for a great listen. Check out the track here!

Magnus & John - Sublime

The makers of "Sublime" described it the best way anybody could-- Magnus & John really come up with something quite sublime here, with the express, groovy drumming that keeps you strapped in from the intro to the end; with synth lines and arpeggiated synths all across the board to keep your ears engaged, as the wafty reverbs on the vocals and vocal layers find their way through the ether into your ears; layered with the laid-back yet powerfully direct energy of the vocals, this makes for quite the well-produced track. Spider Cherry - Little Bit Shy

Spider Cherry takes the synth-pop sound and kicks it into overdrive on their latest single, "Little Bit Shy"-- with its easygoing, enjoyable vibe, complemented rather excellently by the absolutely infectious hook, which left me impressed throughout my time listening to this track. Aside from the already-a-winner vocals, the use of plucky synths with the main melodic motifs makes for a casual yet extremely well-executed number, if I've heard any. The production and mixing find themselves at home quite easily, with a warm and inviting sound that makes full use of the spectrum. Check out the track here!

Chris Collins - I’m Coming Back To You

With his cheery lyrics and upbeat pop production, Chris Collins brings to us “I’m Coming Back To You”, and from the opening notes, the groove moves you, the strummed guitar chords form just the right kind of atmosphere, and this is all topped off by the vocals, with their melodious delivery courtesy of Chris himself. The energy gently shifts up and down throughout the song, lullabying you through the song, yielding a relaxed, positive sound that fills you with good vibes, ready for you to go about your day with a fun, optimistic outlook. Ilona - Feel

The femme fatale Ilona brings to us all kinds of experimentation and sensuality with her latest track, “Feel”. From start to end, this song is forward, and sensuous with its every bar; and the production keeps a breakneck pace with the vocals, with this distinctive, electro-pop sound that sounds just about right for the job. Ilona traverses registers and harmonies like a fish in water, as motifs become melodies and hooks; and coupled with the lyricism, the emotive feel of this song is on an echelon of quite its own. This is all rounded out by a very well-done mix and master that makes it quite the powerful listen; check out the track here!
