The soundscape of this track is intricate and complex and blends smoothly into the more cosmic and surreal “Macchia, I’ll See You”. This song takes you right from the floor of the club to a rooftop gazing at the stars and is perfect in its delivery of its sonic motifs. “Obsidian” is the third track on this album and brings us the most layered and complex soundscape yet with springy synths being complimented by familiar rhythms that we have settled into at this point of the journey. “Sundog” and “Nostalgia Aime Le Rouge” are other genre-exploring chapter of moods that are underpinned by their driving rhythms and slow beats that make way for an explosion of musical flavours that bounce off your sonic palate and keep you yearning for more as you are completely lost in the symphony of sounds. “Be My Ghost” marks the second half of the album and sees a marked shift in energy leaning into a more energetic vibe with a dance rhythm driving the eat and the sound. The second half of this album is where you notice the masterpiece in auditory storytelling this album is capable of as each track energises you and keeps you hooked while serenading your ears with a shifting kaleidoscope of sounds. “Capraria”, “The Wake” and “Fogbound” are the most cinematic of the tracks on this curation with the third of the bunch breaking up the slow moody eats with a funky and vibrant synth-driven soundscape. Finally closing out this album is “Stopless” which is an encapsulation of all the themes you have encountered through your listen perfectly bookending this body of work.
