Nathaniel Paul - The World We’re Living In

Nathaniel Paul’s latest single “The World We’re Living In” is a wonderfully constructed soulful piece of music that will relax you as you listen to it. Opening on an ear-catching colourful acoustic guitar arrangement, the song instantly builds up its atmosphere. Carrying a theme about the nature of the world and how things can change without warning, Paul’s song ultimately speaks to you about acceptance and this tone is well conveyed through the arrangement of the instruments as well as the vocals. The recurring lyric of “Oh, Oh, Oh, It’s a funny world we that we are living in” stick with you and this song is a catchy piece well worth checking out!

Baaj & Baaj - More’n More

With evident influences from the stylings and sound of 80s Brit-pop icons such as Simple Minds and U2, Baaj & Baaj has released a groovy track with his latest release “More’n More”. The entire song has new-wave inspired instrumentation with its funky bassline, synths and piano lines as well as a masterfully crafted beat that is sure to be an instant earworm. This hooky feel is further supplemented by the vocals and the recurring line of “more, more, more” is sure to bounce around your head long after you stop listening. “More’n More” is a song that takes you back in time while still having an undeniably modern twist to it, and I’m a fan!

Bossmachine & Flasch - Hypnotic

Bossmachine and Flasch have come together to create an alluring dynamic track with their latest release “Hypnotic”. The song has an undeniable draw to it from its opening seconds with the fantastic vocals and the heavily electronic production on the beat all of which build up to an explosive chorus that is just perfection. I can’t deny the quality of the beat on this track, the use of synth lines and programmed drums with bass as well as dynamic twists and nuance build an incredible soundscape that never sits still and always keeps you engaged. “Hypnotic” was an incredible listening experience and a surefire hit from this duo of talents!

Michelle SgP - I Just Want to be Me

Michelle SgP brings a whimsical uplifting sound with her latest single “I Just Want to be Me”. Unrelentingly upbeat and liberating in its tone and message every part of this song is deliberately and meticulously crafted to create a smooth listening experience that holds your attention. Michelle opted for a jazzy styling on this track that gives “I Just Want to be Me” a grove and swing that is utterly infectious. The instrumentation on this track is also parring excellence with the stand-out being the piano sections and riffs sprinkled throughout this track. I do strongly recommend you check out this track if you want to go on a fun four-minute auditory ride!

Aruna - Real World

Aruna has crafted an energetic thrill ride with an almost Punk vibe to it with her song “Real World”. Opening with dynamic and lively guitar riffs with a bassline that's funky, she has a wide musical ambience that whilst being incredibly fun, carries some edge. The sound of “Real World” flirts with the boundary of being a straight-up rock song, but also carries influences of the sound and stylings of Olivia Rodrigo and Avril Lavigne. Thoroughly captivating and infectiously vibrant, “Real World” is a certified bop that is about breaking from the shackles of the “real world” that we are always lectured about, and I loved listening to it and so will you!
