The song oozes finesse through and through. With emotive and emotional lyrics accompanied by a strong vocal performance, “The fool and the candle” is not afraid to be vulnerable. The instrumentation is also on point with the stand-out on this track being the drums, which maintain a spirited and consistent beat that serves as the backbone of this track. Loz Tinitoz, Sad Rex and Olly Lagermann - Auf ewig

I was presented with a unique dilemma whilst trying to write down my thoughts about “Auf ewig” by Loz Tinitoz, Sad Rex and Olly Lagermann, as the song is completely in German. So I don’t think there is any higher praise I can give this song other than the fact that I’ve replayed it endlessly since adding it to my playlist despite not understanding a word sung in it and I’m sure so will you! This collaborative piece has transcended language barriers and the trio of Los Tinitoz, Sad Rex and Olly Lagermann have built a lively energetic soundscape on “Auf ewig”. The instrumentation is massive and carries the tone of the song very well with powerful drums, flavourful guitars and a chorus so hooky and catchy the melody won’t ever leave your head. “Auf ewig” is a certified fresh track and a surefire hit, so give it a listen!

Andrew Schneider - Hideaway

Chicago-based singer/songwriter Andrew Schnieder carves an ornate masterpiece with his latest release “Hideaway” This track is genre-bending in nature mixing various sounds, styles and influences into one cohesive smooth auditory experience. The rhythm sections are vibrant with classic drums blended with Latin-inspired percussion and the guitar lines are intricate and technically complex. Found throughout this track are keyboard and synth nuances that sprinkle some of that 70s-style fairy dust and shimmer all over “Hideaway”. Andrew Schnieder displays his full genius in this piece, as this track whilst generally lively and upbeat, contains some melancholic nuances which give this song's message of extravagance some depth and complexity. “Hideaway” is the work of an artist who is rising through the noise and Andrew Schneider is sure to make waves in the indie rock scene so we can't wait to see what he puts out next!

Strawberry Blonde - Snowed In

Elevate your senses and be transported to a different realm with Strawberry Blonde’s latest release “Snowed In”. The opening track to their latest album “Somebody Hold Me”, the song is massive in its soundscape. Liam Connor’s vocals are heartfelt and passionate and are consistently supported by a beautifully melancholic keyboard arrangement. Explosive guitars with harmonies that will tug on your heartstrings accompanied by an ethereal brass section make you lose yourself in this song.  “Snowed In” is the type of slow emotive masterpiece that you can’t put into a box and label under the umbrella of any one single genre, instead it pulls the best of R&B, Melodic Prog and Classic Rock to give you a magical listening experience!

Joseph Lothian - Diner Pearl

Layered and intricate “Diner Pearl” by Joseph Lothian is a wonderfully inventive track to listen to. Opening on an infectious hooky melodic arrangement on keys that acts as a recurring motif for this track, the song doesn’t waste any time to get going. The vocals are clear and heartfelt and Joseph has given us a vocal performance well worth commending. “Diner Pearl” blends elements of Alternative Rock with classic Chamber Pop, and the result is an unforgettable auditory experience. Joseph Lothian is a clear talent who is on his A-game and “Diner Pearl” is another in a long list of hits to come!
