Ollie Twohill-Stifled

There is an essence Ollie Twohill carries as a one-man band. He is a unique performer, and diving into every layer brings him a special edge. His latest single Stifled showcases rare vulnerability with surreal melodies. Keeping it simple, the lyrics drive home the message, while having that refreshing indie rock aura you would enjoy. He opens with a superb, melody infused solo and eases into the rhythm like the experienced musician he is. Stifled aims to be one of his best, though you never know with a singer like this. Each one outclasses the last.

Peppermint Moon-I Thought I Knew

If Eric Clapton swung to the indie rock scene, Peppermint Moon is what he might sound like. This talented musician brings memorable vocal parts with soft and cushioned melodies that make his music so interesting. It churns in one direction, the kind of harmonies and elements placed are fascinating. Taking audio breaks that will explore a gorge of sound, his tricks up the sleeve are worth admiring. The Gonna Figure It Out singer knows that he carries his special sauce, and uses is sparingly to leave that element of surprise and style. Listen to his beautiful single here:

The Worry People-ATWB

Blending catchy percussion with swinging rock and exciting riffs, The Worry People are back. Their album is straight up magic, but here comes one of their best. ATWB has the garage rock zing, but melodies are something you’ll never be able to keep your finger on. There is a scale displacement that will keep the song a delight that you can’t quite figure out. This is a good thing, for when you reach the chorus, you feel like you’ve taken flight. Vocals, instrumentals are absolutely tight, sounding like something Chris Cornell signed off on without a doubt. Listen to The Worry People here:

The Trudy-Dear Sancho

This band returns, always with some pomp and show. The underrated beasts of really detailing their music, this latest one has a psychedelic strain. Especially the vocals stand out with the ambient, soothing background elements. It is a post-grunge, post-rock styled song only The Trudy could nail this way. It has all the ideal scopes of becoming a crowd favourite in any gig. The tones in the song are some of the warmest, yet have the ability to leave space as desired. The band has outdone themselves with this unique number:

Perry Ripley-Sinner

Fusing electronic elements with the purity of rock, Perry Ripley is here to give you a bittersweet treat. His vocals are a reminder of some of the most powerful you’ll hear. There are shreds of the rock that will break the realms in the chorus, and builds impressively. Very few artists can explore the genre in their own way, and Perry is definitely one of them. He doesn’t overburden you with guitar chaos, but has rationed it like the genius composer he promises to become. His music will remind you of Bring Me The Horizon with a parallel stream.
