Carlos Ucedda-Under Your Iris
He might just be off that mega success song with Luke Tangerine, but Carlos Ucedda is back with another smasher. Under Your Iris is a beautiful pop song with some really great harmonies and melodies coming together like a waterfall. It is an exciting and refreshing song, with plummeting percussion as well. It is one of those songs that try to bring in the listener into the song, layer by layer. Having a folkish energy, there is an electronic explosion in every section to be expected. Eddy Mann- Hallelujah
The famous name of the song might be with massive artists who have covered it, but Eddy Mann writes another Hallelujah. Soft, well crafted tones, bring a phasing melody to your ears, hopping and skipping with the same joy. It is like a carol, clean, clear and well-formed. The lyrics are a repetition of Hallelujah, but has layers added with every section or so. The minimal instrumentals draw you into the song to make another perfect pop song for our playlist. You will transcend the time and space you are in for this one-
Cate O’Conner-The Labyrinth
One of the best vocalists in the indie game, Cate O’Conner brings her explosive, melodic and modulating voice to her latest single. It is a tale, told like it should be. Detailed and rich in imagery, Cate also makes sure the music is felt in every line of the song. The chorus is going to give you goosebumps for the miraculous transition it becomes. The way she weaves around the string portion is superb, and you’ll be spellbound by the atmosphere she creates on this one. It has the potential to be one of the best songs we have heard in this platform in a long time!:
David Mauer-One More Day
Teasing us with his melodic voice, David Mauer is back with his single, One More Day. These ballads are rich with emotion, but the way David spirals through them is something special. He ensures the percussions bring a nice flood of colour to his voice, as he sings memorable lyrics that create the kind of tone only some can dream about. We have always enjoyed Edie’s songs. Mature, clever and stylish to her own particular signature, you’ll always find yourself pleasantly surprised by Edie.
