'Blinded' is the latest single from the superb musician, Amy Yon. Filled with emotion and heart, 'Blinded' is destined to please current fans and win Yon an army of new fans too!

With an evolving sound, 'Blinded' opens to a piano and a subtle cello. Atmospheric vocals enter too, and Yon's incredible vocal performance enchants the listener. The single builds in layers and the instruments weave their way in and out of the piece seamlessly. Yon's voice is exquisite. The passionate vocal performance is mesmerising and captivating. Warm and inviting, she charms the listener and holds their attention throughout. Emotion emanates from her warm and rounded tones, with moving lyrics adding to the quality of the song too.
The stripped-back instrumentation leaves room for the excellent composition and arrangement to shine through. We found the rise and fall in the instrumentation create texture and colour within the piece. It also creates a solid foundation for the magical vocals to springform.
"Blinded has been the real catalyst of the [upcoming] album. I was wandering around Barcelona with no guitar and lost with my place with music when my producer and friend Fabian Suske encouraged me to start recording my debut album. Which then led us to start recording in Vienna summer 2018." She continues, "It seemed pretty obvious from the beginning that blinded was going to be the first single. It's about the vulnerability and exposure you feel once you've been woken up to something or someone you thought you knew so well. It's easy to get swept up in other people's causes and then lose yourself in it."
