The arrangement sets off fireworks in your brain, much like in the film Ratatouille, with silky-smooth instrumental entries that first craft a slow, unassuming build-up before suddenly picking up intensity and making leaps midway through, almost like a headrush. The resulting burst of serotonin evokes the visuals of a travelling van of musicians, picking up a new instrument along the way, each one reading the others’ minds and chiming in with textures of their own, all while being anchored by the inconspicuous drums and warbly bass, nonchalantly observing from the front seat.
