Sloane Monroe and Kenan Kián’s ‘WOULD U?’ is a energetic, quick-moving hyper-pop club banger that seems to riffle through the stages of love at first sight. The soundscape sets off at a sprint, quick and unrelenting while the two singers on the track delve into their own perspectives of the chance meeting while eyeing at all that potential. 

“...Would you call me?...”, the two sing, hoping for the best while the instrumental seems to spin out intense emotional charge while the narrators seemingly spiral. It’s easy to immerse yourself in the track, even as at throws different emotions at you from all directions.

2. Omar Pierce - I Got You

I Got You’ by Omar Pierce is a slow-paced, synth-heavy ballad that attempts to offer comfort to a lover who’s seemingly working themselves to the bone. The narrator promises to take care of their lover, “...you know I like to keep you happy…”. This because they know, “....stress free sex ain’t free…”

Slow and deliberate, the song aims to be a soothing balm, a comforting reminder that the narrator is there, ready to take care of and provide in any way they can. “...Tell me what it is and Imma take care of you…”.

3. Vanda - Sunday Shroom

Sunday Shroom’ by Vanda is a bright acoustic, goose-bump inducing ballad that covets escape in love. Its lyrics are smitten with a calm love, wholesome and brimming with optimism that feels full and even earned. 

The narrator wants to spend every spare minute with this love, even admitting that: “...nothing feels as good when I’m next to you on the Sunday Shroom…”. The earnest emotion on the track feels incredibly sincere, so full of wholesome soul that it translates through sound. “...I’m not that good when it comes to you…”

4. Molly Devine - Good Vibes Only

Good Vibes Only’ by Molly Devine is a chill, blues-like tune that holds a bright groove. The narrator describes a break-up that took time to reel from, before acknowledging how far they’ve come. “...Now I’m living on good vibes only…”

They’ve moved on, from being “...sad and lonely…”, to rediscovering their own worth.  Bright, optimistic and present the song feels like an anthem that addresses life after love, light and alive. Now, “...there’s so much space in my heart…”. This bright, empowered sentiment is backed by a funky groove led by guitars. These that give the soundscape swing and energy.

5. Michellar - I cant to meet you !

I cant meet you !’ by Michellar captures liberating brightness that comes when someone who has loved hard chooses themselves. The narrator sees clarity while the soundscape under it layers it with a free-flowing, funky groove. 

“...There’s no use in calling, ‘cause I’m not falling in love again…”. “...I’m not falling for you…”. After disappointment in love, the narrator slowly begins to choose themselves and can’t meet their ex where they are. Having found themselves, it’s simply time to let go. The song’s synths are danceable, layering this liberating, optimistic tune with a rhythm that can be embodie. Moving on pretty viscerally.
