Dark synth-pop artists, also self-described as a ‘humanoid duo’, Cosmic Anxiety, just dropped their latest track, ‘The Crack in My Heart.’ This is one of those tracks that is the cinematic equivalent of humans living lives in slow motion, going through everyday tasks on repeat, and capturing their theme with this powerful lyric- “I don’t know where to go, all the paths I choose to follow end up leading me to a black hole” and the artist’s message really hits home. The electronic underbed drifts and shifts with distorted notes, symbolizing inner discomfort, while the powerful overhead vocals ground you in reality.
4. Anastasiya Sopova – Santa Monica Sunrise
Sopova stuns again with her latest drop, ‘Santa Monica Sunrise’, a song that leans into tropical house territory, blending dreamy landscapes with punchy electronic rhythms. The music feels fresh and experimental, with all the layers of intermingling grooves subtly carrying the song’s vibe, while the vocals drift easily between breathy and sultry to full voice without feeling at all overdone. 5. Aly Berry – Men Like You

This track might just turn heads at a busy restaurant, where the music was meant to be the background, as it’s got a sultry vibe, and is the equivalent of “arrives precisely when they mean to.” The singer’s voice oozes charisma with her velvety vocals, as she delivers the most, capturing a vibe between innocent and coy. The instruments, in typical jazz fashion feels minimalist at first, but slowly unveils its hidden side as the song continues. This is definitely a track that scratches the itch in your brain, especially if you’re a lover of jazz.
