1. Krey Galin - Treat You Like a Lady
Krey Galin’s latest track is the perfect combination of swirly electronica and feet-sweeping romance, especially for the ladies. The track features a soft, glowy arrangement dominated by several layers of vocal loops, with variations of the hook lines ‘treat you like a lady’ and ‘you’re so beautiful’ surrounding you like a floaty layer of popping bubbles. The instrumentation of buzzing bass notes against beats interlaced with delicately plucked synths creates a great base for the arrangement to take off as one whole dreamy sequence. ‘Sundress’ is JF Roy’s latest alt-rock blend of alt-flavoured electronica and classic rock, transporting the listener across different landscapes as the vocalist sings about romance and adventure. The song is layered and heavily textured, taking you through different terrains, warping tones, and an underbed of synth hooks multiplying in variations at each turn, maintaining an engaging rhythm. The vocals are bright and sharp, flowing easily with the shifting currents underneath, as production adds a unique mix of synth fragmentation with grungy atmospheric crunchiness. On the whole, this works great as a song to slow-dance to at a party, while still bringing that punchy element.
4. Terra Renae - Slightly Faded
Terra Renae’s latest track ‘Slightly Faded’ is the perfect blend of ‘faded’ dark tones and fragmented, earthy textures. The soundscape is every bit as hypnotic as it is entertaining, with its punchy rhythm and a simmering synth hook that draws you deeper into the song. The bass notes tail the singer in spirit while creating loops underneath, and the singer herself has an Ariana Grande-like quality to her voice that meshes well with the landscape. 5. Sadie Nix - Full of Me
A song about self-reclamation and freedom, ‘Full of Me’ is a spirited, catchy sing-along track that will keep you hooked from start to finish. The track has a unique blend of metallic tones and earthy mixing that draws a distinct soundscape of crunchy guitars, edgy drums, and overdrives, creating a flowy undercurrent to Nix’s powerful vocals.
