Kamil) Hey Sambox, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What first got you into music?

Hello Kamil, happy to share this moment with you. I started music at a very young age with a classical education and practiced the clarinet for several years until playing in the French Army. After this period, I became self-taught and oriented myself towards composition.

Are there any musicians who inspire you? What qualities do you admire about them?

There are really many artists who give me sources of inspiration but Moby is really an example for his creativity, Bob sinclar for his mixture of styles (cocorico), Ludovico Einaudi for the sweetness of his repertoire and many others.

Your latest track is 'Road Trip'. Can you share with us the background of its creation and did any unusual things happen during its creation?

In these difficult times for everyone, the goal as a music creator is to give a little hope and to be able to escape from our daily lives, it is in this direction that I wanted to go with this new single "Road trip".

In the title "Going to the sun road" I used the banjo, a fairly typical sound, folk/country from the United States and then it's the nostalgic side that comes back, (I love the music of Tom Sawyer, my childhood).

Which skills have you gained that help you perform effectively as a musician?

Clearly my classical music training brought me a lot but the musical ear is also a big advantage factor to put a dish of ideas on the piano and quickly transcribe them into my software.

What are your favourite musical genres, and are there any you dislike?

I mainly love slow, melancholic and above all melodious styles of music like lounge, chillout, ambient but I can listen to pop.

There's one thing that i don't like is music with too much vocoder, i have a little trouble because it lacks authenticity and also death metal.

Are there people who help you with the production of the songs?

I am the only actor in the composition and production of my tracks.

What are your long term goals?

The objective would be to make a living from this profession of compositions and devote myself to it 100%.

What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

Create a title from start to finish and above all be able to share it because the very meaning of creation is sharing.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

With hindsight there was very good but I think that everything was badly regulated from the start and we can see the consequences today, music is accessible to everyone and so much the better but creators in general have never was also poor apart from a few celebrities.

What are your plans for the future?

Release at the end of February of my next single in collaboration with Anita Barbereau, cellist and former soloist of the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra. I will be sure to share it with you!
