LITM Rock Picks, featuring Electric Fuchsia, Cosmic Madness and more!

This edition of LITM Rock Picks is packed with hits from the likes of Electric Fuchsia, and more!

Electric Fuchsia – “I Felt Alive”

Electric Fuchsia is an indie pop rock trio based out of Chicago – and  on their latest single, “I Felt Alive”, they bring their grand tunes to the fore; and from right from the very start, the passion and the virtuosity bleed from their sound. Be it the lush instrumentals, or the infectious electric guitars, this track has it all. The vocal presentation is beautiful, making use of harmonies and layers, yielding dimension and more meaning to the song. The mix is the cherry on top as the trio put forth a truly compelling listening experience – take a listen to it here!

Allan Jamisen – “All I Am Is You”

Experimental pop rock producer and songwriter Allan Jamisen brings forth a very 00s pop rock sound in his latest single, “All I Am Is You”. Bringing the electronic drums that made the noughts iconic with an almost Nine Inch Nails-esque vocal presentation, this track quickly cements itself in your head for its unique sound and timbre. The sections of the song ooze style and swagger as the acid pads in the background make for a gritty, addictive soundscape. The chorus sections bring funky basses and counter-melodies that bring this song full circle rather well. Take a listen to the track here!

Cosmic Madness – “Domain Change”

Cosmic Madness, a solo pop rock producer, takes a high-energy approach to his sound in his latest single, “Domain Change” – and right from the very start, there’s a sense of electricity that fills the air as the industrial rock-style electronic drums and the fast-paced guitar riffing announce themselves. The singing stands out as one of the aspects of this track that remains stuck in your head, while the adrenaline goes from height to height on this track. Couple this with a killer mix, and you have a winner of a track! Take a listen to the track here:

Penny Rebels – “Say Watcha Mean”

Penny Rebels is a band from the United Kingdom that carves its identity not based on trends, but their originality – and such an example is their latest single, “Say Watcha Mean”. With positively sick guitars that make for the cornerstone of this track, the vocals play exceptionally well into the rest of the track. The drumming retains high spirits, with the dotted piano chords throughout the track giving the track a whole, full-bodied sound. The themes of the track range from rock-and-roll to straight hard rock with the solo, coming together quite well. Take a listen to the track here!

The Archduke – “Line of Fire”

The Archduke, alias of Thomas Dulieu, presents a delightful country rock number in their latest single, “Line Of Fire”. Straddling the line between pop rock, Americana, and country rock, this track presents a compelling listening proposition from the word go – with the soulful vocal performances, the gentle acoustics in the background, and the easygoing nature of the drumming. The energy of the song is chilled, and passionate – and as the song progresses, the electrics make an entry, evolving the sound of the track rather well with it. All in all, a winner of a track!
