LITM label signees The Fin. are gearing up to release a new album and the singles so far have been pretty diverse offerings. From the Bee Gees style disco strut of ‘Pale Blue’ to the ambient and meditative ‘Afterglow’ the group appear to be working with their broadest sonic palette yet. The latter song has been reworked by London krautrock revivalist legends FEWS and their remix is a strange and beautiful beast. Over ten minutes FEWS pluck selected melodic ideas from the original song and throw them into an eerie sonic ether. It’s an experiment in form and formlessness that presents ‘Afterglow’ in a totally new light. Click below and see for yourself.
